The Environmental Protection Agency “WaterSense” partnership program links to lists of water-wise plants that are perfect for xeriscapes in the United States. Based on the state you choose, you are directed to websites with lists of plants appropriate for a particular location. The Lady Bird Johnson Wild Flower Center lets you search their database of recommended native plants. You can filter your search using multiple parameters, including light requirements and soil moisture needs.
